At VRG Learning Institute, our commitment to the Tampa Bay community extends well beyond our programs and classrooms. We believe that showing up for our community — in all of its forms — is part of who we are as an organization. That spirit of service and giving back is something our Co-Founder and President, Larry Tartaglino, has carried long before VRG Learning Institute existed, and it continues today.

A Personal Note from Larry Tartaglino, Co-Founder & President — VRG Learning Institute

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to serve as Chair of the committee and EMCEE for this amazing event. Thank you to Tampa General Hospital, the incredible team at the Tampa General Hospital Foundation, and all of the committee members who made this day possible. It was a great day of golf, fun, and fundraising — and an honor to be part of it.

About the TGH Foundation Golf Tournament

The following highlights are courtesy of the Tampa General Hospital Foundation:

This week at Old Memorial Golf Club, the Tampa General Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament achieved something remarkable — fully funding a new high-frequency ultrasound machine for the TGH Plastic Surgery Institute. Guests were welcomed by John D. Couris, Melissa Golombek, and Frances (Frann) M. Leppla, with a National Anthem performance by Sonya Bryson-Kirksey of the Tampa Bay Lightning. A special thank you to the Yerrid Foundation and all sponsors whose generosity made this successful day possible.

Why This Matters to Us

At VRG Learning Institute, we are proud to be part of a community where organizations and individuals come together to make a real difference. Events like the TGH Foundation Golf Tournament remind us that meaningful impact happens when people show up — for their neighbors, their hospitals, and their community. We are grateful for every opportunity to contribute and look forward to continuing to serve Tampa Bay in every way we can.
